This HPS lamp 600W 400V, pulse start lamp, has been developed for use with the Lumatek Ultimate Pro 600W 400V electronic ballast and is manufactured with high quality ceramic arc tube technology and a special gas mixture for horticulture that produces optimal spectral output for healthy plant growth. 400 V HPS lamps are more efficient than standard HPS lamps and can therefore increase light intensity and PAR / PPF output by 10%. The PCA ceramic arc tube enables the lamp to operate at higher internal temperatures, which increases color rendering, power and efficiency. PCA resists interaction with the chemicals inside the tube, stabilizing the chemical mix over the life of the lamp, improving color consistency and maintaining the PAR / PPF level. The pulse-start technology enables faster start and restart times, a longer lamp life and increased lumen maintenance.
