The Shinobi is a brand new parabolic reflector that is manufactured to the highest standards. It is designed to cast down as much light as possible. It measures 80 cm in diameter and aims to cast light evenly downwards over about 1 m². If you are looking for a screen that gives you a wide light distribution, then this is not the right screen for you, you need the Turrican reflector.
Lumatek realized that there was no reflector made specifically for those growing in a small space like a tent. Regular reflectors let a lot of light go to the side, the SHINOBI lets all of the light go down and doesn't rely on the sides of tents / walls to reflect the light.
The SHINOBI is made entirely of aluminum, the lamp holder, the hanger, the leaves and the two upper plates. This was done in order to keep the weight to an absolute minimum.
The SHINOBI is the first color to contain the 'VVS' (Variable Ventilation System). It has a unique adjustable top plate that allows the end user to increase or decrease the amount of hot air escaping. If the hood is too hot, simply adjust the top plate to allow for maximum airflow. Alternatively, if you want to increase the hood temperature, close the ventilation system.
The SHINOBI is available in two versions: "White" and "Ultra". White is the powder-coated standard version and Ultra is the highly reflective (95%) premium version made from Focal 95.
Lumatek has also upgraded the SHINOBI's wiring. Both the standard and premium versions use the same lamp holder system. It uses a cable connection rated at 750 volts, standard shields typically use one rated at 350 V. In addition, the wiring is sealed in a fully enclosed unit with cable sleeves at both ends. It uses 3 x 1.5mm cables compared to 3 x 0.75mm used on many competitive reflectors.
Despite all of these innovative and great new features, Lumatek has managed to keep prices at the level of similar inferior parabolic reflectors.

The Shinobi was designed and engineered in the UK using high quality components and cables to ensure a high quality, lightweight parabolic reflector. This 80 cm HID parabolic hood was developed to focus the light directly on a base area of 1 m² and is ideal for growing large plants in small grow rooms / tents.
The lamp holder is mounted vertically and all light is reflected downwards and not to the side. This method of focusing the light ensures an even distribution of light without hot spots and is cool enough to position the hood closer to the canopy, increasing the amount of PAR (Grow Light) on the plant.
The Variable Ventilation System (VVS) allows you to increase or decrease the amount of hot air that escapes. If the hood is too hot, simply adjust the top plate to allow for maximum airflow. Alternatively, if you want to increase the hood temperature, close the ventilation system.
The Shinobi is available in Ultra; This is the highly reflective (95%) premium version made of Focal 95 or in standard powder-coated white. This reflector is designed for E40 base HPS and MH grow lamps up to 1000 W and is equipped with a 4 m long mains cable according to IEC.
