The political lie is nothing new, but the prospect of nuclear disasters has given it another dimension. The citizens have become much more demanding when it comes to lies and it is now experts, doctors, scientists, associations, unions, etc. who have replaced politicians and knocked them out with lies. But when the "citizens" become more and more demanding, it is not to know the truth, but to make these lies credible and to avoid unsolvable problems of conscience for them. There is therefore a link between the need for managers to lie and the need for "citizens" to make those lies credible. So far, lies and the dictatorship of experts have been "voluntarily" accepted. Now this bondage to the experts has become a necessity for the better survival of the "disaster victims". We have moved from voluntary servitude to the need for servitude.
